How does the 7 step “Posture Therapy™” program work?
Level one: 4 weeks 7 sessions of progressive therapy.
Level two: 8 weeks 8 sessions of progressive therapy.
 
Step 1 - The Assessment
The 30-minute assessment includes a total of 21-objective measurements these measurements determine your body’s unique misalignments within these types of movements forward/backward, rotational, side to side.
 
Step 2 - The Evaluation
The Evaluation includes these 5 guidelines to personalize your program:
  1. How much time do you have each day to dedicate to your rehabilitation while in “Posture Therapy™”?
  2. What intensity level are you comfortable with?
  3. What is your current ability?
  4. What is your current flexibility?
  5. What are your current pain levels?
The benefits of steps 1 and 2 are we have now personalized your “Posture Therapy™”
 
Step 3 - Postural Rehabilitation Program
Based on your evaluation, you will receive a computer-generated Postural Rehabilitation Program.

The benefits of a computer generated program are:

  1. We have created a starting point in which to unwind and rehabilitate your body.
  2. Web based servers allow access to your routine at your convenience.
  3. Each routine has a video link to assure you are doing your routine correctly.
  4. Reports are available to track your progress.
  5. You’re able to rehab at home.
 
Step 4 - Hands-On Posture Therapy™
Your hands-on Posture Therapy™ begins with a series of 90-minute sessions based on the science that a physical object vertically aligned within the field of gravity (you in this case) moves more efficiently. This is achieved by bringing segments of the body (feet, legs, pelvis, torso, neck, and head) into a structurally organized relationship with one another.

Benefits are:

  1. Assist clients in becoming aware of emotional stress that may be related to physical tension
  2. Relieves chronic tension and stress in the body
  3. Creates more ease and fluidity in the body
  4. Pain relief,
  5. Greater range of motion,
  6. Increased breathing capacity.
  7. Improved body definition.
 
Step 5 - New Movement Education
Simple and easy to remember suggestions and visualizations are used to rebalance your movement for optimal alignment and fluidity.

The benefits are:

  1. You become profoundly aware of your body and your movement patterns,
  2. You discover easier, fuller ways of moving.
 
Step 6 - New Postural Habits/Ergonomic Review
Sitting, standing, and walking are common to everyone the focus of postural habits/ ergonomic review is to fine tune your particular movement interests, like your favorite sports, or your job activity.

The benefits are:

  1. You will eliminate the poor postural habits that are responsible for many of your current aches and pains.
  2. You will be able to maintain and create an environment of improvement for your body that will be long lasting.
 
Step 7 - Ongoing Consultation
Brings awareness of the relationship between your emotions and attitudes of your body. As you become aware of these relationships, you are able to become responsible for your attitudes so that they are less likely to limit your body and your self-expression

  2. Newfound awareness facilitates a profound process of change within the body and mind.
